American Patchwork Picture

Patched diamond shapes in various American cottons form the centre of this piece of art.  The patched diamonds have been joined to cream & yellow cotton and then further joined to green & cream checked homespun.  Fully glazed and framed in a rustic wood effect frame.  Stitched onto tea-dyed muslin and attached to the outside of the frame is a hand-embroidered 'Patchwork' label.  Embellished with rustic buttons.

Patched Square Table Runner

Handmade in New England by my sister-in-law Anne Allan and her friend Lorraine Rudd is this beautiful patched square table runner.  It is made from a selection of co-ordinating cotton fabrics.  I can just picture this on a dark oak table with pewter candle sticks and bowl.  Gorgeous!

Patched Crazy Star Table Runner

Handmade in New England by my sister-in-law Anne Allan and her friend Lorraine Rudd is this beautiful patched crazy star table runner.  It is made from a selection of co-ordinating cotton fabrics and is quilted with gold thread in a flower pattern.  Backed with a cream and red stripe fabric.  Stitched to the back of the runner is a 'Lunenburg, Massachusetts 2008' label.  Perfect for Christmas.

Winter Quilt

Handmade in New England by my sister-in-law Anne Allan and her friend Lorraine Rudd is this beautiful, navy and red patched winter quilt.  It is made up of seven winter scenes bordered by red and blue patched rectangles which are in turn bordered by gold, green, red and cream patched squares.  The quilt is backed with a light blue cotton fabric with a snowman design.
